Dr. Yasmin Al-Mulla Hummadi is a UK-trained family physician with advanced specialization in dermatology and psychodermatology.
She graduated from the University of Baghdad before completing postgraduate training in Family Medicine in the UK. She took the path of Mental Health in 2020 by completing a one-year fellowship in Medical CBT in Toronto, followed by a Diploma in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University, UK in 2022.
She further expanded her expertise through a Diploma in Spiritual Psychotherapy at Cambridge Muslim College, followed by pursuing her interest in Psychodermatology where she combined her passion in mental and skin health to obtain the European Diploma in Psychodermatology, followed by a Masters degree in Psychodermatology at Cardiff University — focusing her dissertation on the integration of Spiritual Psychotherapy with cutaneous (skin) health for better skin healing.

Dr. Hummadi has real life vibrant experience being a multi-war survival and an immigrant, these experiences have led her to learn ways to heal from, and live well with, such challenges. She’s eager to teach you how to use these ways for yourself!
She has practised in many settings treating diverse population with different cultural and religious backgrounds and in both major and rural cities which enriched her understanding of variety of beliefs and human behaviours that enabled her to start with each single patient from their own understanding and stage of readiness.

Recognizing that many patients seek therapy that honours their spiritual beliefs, Dr. Hummadi pursued a Diploma in Spiritual Psychotherapy at Cambridge Muslim College. This training taught her to integrate spirituality with Psychotherapy in a respectful, evidence-informed way.
Combining her passion for mental and skin health, Dr. Hummadi obtained the European Diploma in Psychodermatology, followed by a Masters degree in Psychodermatology at Cardiff University. Her dissertation focused on the integration of Spiritual Psychotherapy with cutaneous (skin) health for better healing outcomes — pioneering research in this emerging field.
