I got this set for my daughter because she wants to learn lacrosse and play with her brothers. She constantly takes their sticks to play, but they are way too big for her.
These stick are the perfect size for kids and great for beginners. They are very light. The quality is good, but nothing compared to a real lacrosse stick. With these sticks, it’s more about getting used to holding the stick and learning to cradle, throw, and catch. They are perfect for play in the backyard to introduce the game of lacrosse before the start of any clinics.
My daughter can easily hold the stick. It’s the perfect length for her. Since they are so light and a great size, she looks so happy and confident playing. The colors are also super bright and fun for kids! They are gender neutral.
The set comes with a bean bag ball or hackie sack. This is genius because it adds weight, making it easier to cradle and making it more of a real lacrosse ball feel other than a tennis ball. I thought this was an amazing idea to include this type of weighted ball in this set.
I highly recommend this set for beginners. It’s a great set for backyard play to get used to holding a stick, cradling, shooting, and catching. The price is amazing too!

I ordered this set for my son (10), and he and his older cousin had a blast learning to play lacrosse. The sticks are decent quality for what they are- an introduction to the sport without breaking the bank or being too complicated/ dangerous. And to that point, I really like the bean bag ball that came with the set. I used a tennis ball in the yard growing up, but that does not have the same weight as a lacrosse ball and that makes a big difference. This bean bag has enough weight to sit in the pocket like a lacrosse ball, but also won’t do too much damage from an errant throw. The kids were not quite prepared for how hard/far you can throw a ball with a bit of extra leverage!
